Build real steel
in a shop that lasts.
WestCraft has machined, welded, and tested custom cylinders in Alto, Texas since 1970. We're always interested in skilled machinists and welders — even when nothing specific is posted. Tell us what you run.

What the work is
Trade work worth staying for.
Real trade work
Custom and short-run cylinders, not the same part a million times. You machine it, weld it, assemble it, and test it — start to finish, under one roof.
A shop that lasts
WestCraft has built cylinders in Alto, Texas since 1970 — an independent Texas shop that has held the same standard, and kept many of the same customers, for over fifty years.
Skilled, not siloed
The person who machines a cylinder is the one who tests and crates it. You see the whole job, learn the whole process, and your work ships with your name on the traveler.
Straight answers
Same voice we use with customers: plain and blunt. We tell you where you stand, and the shop answers the phone when it rings.
Pay and benefits are discussed directly with the shop — real numbers, no boilerplate. Ask when you apply or call (936) 858-4426.
