Short version: this site runs cookieless analytics, shows no ads, sells nothing, and only keeps the details you choose to send us — for as long as it takes to quote your work and no longer. No tracking pixels, no data brokers.

Analytics

We measure how the site is used with Plausible, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool. It sets no cookies and does not follow you across other websites, so there is no consent banner to click. We serve its script and receive its measurements through our own domain, so nothing about your visit is sent to a third-party analytics host from your browser. We see aggregate counts — which pages get visited, how many people start a quote or use the configurator — never anything that identifies you personally. Plausible does not sell or share this data.

When you send us something

If you request a quote, ask for a repair evaluation, apply for a job, or send a message, we keep what you give us — your name, company, contact details, the cylinder specs or files you attach, and your message — for one reason: to quote your work and get back to you. We do not sell it or hand it to advertisers. If you'd rather not use a form, call the shop at (936) 858-4426.

Who processes your data for us

We keep the operation lean and name every service that touches your information:

Supabase — our database and file storage. When you submit a form, your details and any uploaded drawings are stored in a private Supabase project as our data processor. Uploads go to a private storage bucket; only WestCraft staff can retrieve them.
Resend — sends the transactional email that a submission triggers: our internal notification and your confirmation/auto-reply. It is not used for marketing.
Cloudflare — hosts the site and runs Turnstile, a privacy-preserving anti-spam check that tells a real person from a bot without the puzzles or cross-site tracking of other systems.

What stays on your device

Some conveniences are saved only in your browser's local storage and are never sent to us or anyone else: your unit preference (inches vs mm), configurations you save in the configurator, an in-progress repair-measurement draft, and an in-progress quote-request draft (which can include the name, company, email, and phone you have typed into the form, so you can pick up where you left off — none of it reaches us until you actually submit). They live on your device until you clear them. Clearing your browser storage removes them.

How long we keep it

We don't keep your information longer than we need it. Our retention policy is to keep lead records (quotes, repair evaluations, messages, job applications) no longer than 24 months after your last contact with us, and uploaded drawings and files no longer than 12 months after they're uploaded; we are finalizing the automated enforcement of this schedule. In the meantime, you can ask us to delete your information at any time — call (936) 858-4426 or email sales@westcraftmfg.com and we'll remove it.

What we don't do

We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, we do not track you across other sites, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone. There is no ad network and no data broker in the picture.
